I was born in North York, Ontario, though grew up my entire life in Brampton. At a very young age I took to sports, not just watching but playing. Many thought I would be on SportCentre or I would be a lawyer. As I grew older I took many classes that dealt with law, politics and history and my goal was to be teacher, but university did not work out. I took a year off and worked construction in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, before giving university one last go. University wasn't for me so I looked for and found a new path radio broadcasting.
After getting a near immediate acceptance from Humber my new career path was under way. In my final year of the program the Barilla the Gorilla brand was found and developed. I worked in Dauphin, MB for a small stint when that fell apart I started the Goin' Ape Shhh podcast. I found myself at River Country in Peace River, AB before the pandemic derailed by career.
After returning home then finding myself living and working in Whistler, BC for 14 months, I have found myself back in Peace River on-air and the music director for River Country/KIX FM.
